Pet Sitting Booking & Visit Schedule Template — Free PDF & Editable Download
A booking is a promise spread over days, and this schedule is where the promise is kept track of. It lists every visit in the booking with its own reference — PP-1109-V1 to V7 in the worked example — the assigned sitter, the scheduled window, and two columns most schedules omit: whether the report card was completed and whether it was sent. Those references are the chain: the same visit reference appears on the report card the client receives and on the invoice line the client pays. It is the coordinating document of the FormNest pet-sitting set.

Who should use it
- Pet-sitting businesses managing bookings that run over several days
- Solo dog walkers juggling repeat visits for several households
- Small teams assigning sitters across different clients and dates
How to use it
- Create the schedule as soon as the booking is confirmed, straight from the intake and the agreed rate.
- Give every visit its own reference before the booking starts — references invented afterwards never quite match.
- Mark each visit complete only after it has been performed and its report card written.
- At the end of the booking, the completed grid is the invoice's source document — every line on the bill should trace to a row here.
Printing & customization
Prints on US Letter or A4 landscape across two pages — landscape gives the visit grid room for notes. Duplicate the grid in the editable version for bookings longer than a week.
Free for your own business use — print it, fill it, edit the editable version and save it as your master. Please don't redistribute, resell or re-upload the files themselves; link to this page instead.
Frequently asked questions
Why does every visit need its own reference?
Because a booking is not one event — it is seven (or seventeen) separate services. The reference connects the schedule row, the report card and the invoice line for that specific visit, so any question about any day resolves in seconds.
Can one schedule cover multiple pets?
Yes — pets in one household share a booking and a schedule. Their different routines belong on the care instructions sheet, not duplicated here.
Should I mark visits complete in advance to save time?
No. Completion must reflect service actually performed. A grid marked complete ahead of time is a liability dressed as efficiency — the worked example shows the grid as it should look at the end of the booking, not the start.
