Cleaning Quality Inspection Sheet Template — Free PDF & Editable Download

Quality in a cleaning business is usually inspected by memory — a quick glance before leaving, if the day allows. This sheet makes it a system: thirty checks across kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and final general checks, each marked PASS, FAIL or N/A against the client's agreed scope, with a corrective-action record and a signed re-check for anything that fails. It is the quality link of the FormNest chain — the document that turns 'we clean well' into something a business can show.

Example details only. Sarah Johnson inspects Emily Carter's first deep clean at Dana Miller's home on November 10, 2026 — the same job the estimate, welcome sheet and key log in this collection describe. One item fails; watch what the sheet does with it.

What's included

Who should use it

How to use it

  1. Inspect against the client's agreed scope only — a task that was never booked is N/A, not a fail.
  2. Work room by room in the sheet's order, marking each item before you leave the room.
  3. For every FAIL, fill the corrective-action record on the spot: what, who fixes it, by when.
  4. Re-check the correction and sign the re-check section; a fail is not closed until it has been looked at again.

Printing & customization

Prints on US Letter or A4 across three pages. Use the editable version to add room-specific tasks, extra rows, or your own standard checklist items before making it your master.

Simple usage licence

Free for your own business use — print it, fill it, edit the editable version and save it as your master. Please don't redistribute, resell or re-upload the files themselves; link to this page instead.

Frequently asked questions

When should I complete an inspection?

Usually immediately after the cleaning visit, or before the team leaves the property — while anything found can still be put right on the same visit.

Should I mark an excluded task as failed?

No. Use N/A when the task was outside the agreed scope. Marking unbooked work as a fail punishes the cleaner for the estimate, not for the cleaning.

Can a failed inspection be approved later?

Yes — once the corrective action has been completed and re-checked. The sheet's re-check section is what closes the loop; a fail without a re-check is just a note.
